dyspraxia

my son has been tested at a centre at long last and it has emerged they think he could be dyspraxic and also dyslexic, the report although i recieved half of report there was pages missing the school never gave me! stated that he needs to be seen by a ot to be diagnosed as only ots can do this the report was done in november and i was told by senco that she would do the refferal, and i am still waiting now in march!!!! also the school said he could lend him a laptop in january I am still waiting for this also!! has anybody else had trouble getting the senco/school to be on the ball or is it only my sons school???

some sencos are just crap
you have to be on their case all the time
some are great though!

You can get a referral to the OT from your doctor - that's how I've had to get the ball rolling for my son.

How old is your DS? My son is 6 and we're right at the start of our diagnosis journey!
