DD to have CASBAT assessment???

I have just come back from appointment with DD and community paediatrician. CP has suggested that a CASBAT assessment may be the next step. Can anybody tell me what this will involve? Apparently DD is showing definate AS traits.

Thanks hungryhippo, have also looked at that website but doesn't give you much information about what the assessment is all about. CP told me it was just a more in depth assessment than those already done by Ed Pysch and Complex Communications team, but just wondered if anyone had any experience of the assessment.
