Poor Facial Recognition and......

I am a regular, I've changed my name as I'd prefer to find out more about this before broaching it with anyone in my RL who might happen by.

Does anyone know what this could be due to?

I often have trouble recognising people by their face.

I'm lacking in social skills, I find interaction extremely tough going.

I panic in group situations.

I don't take 'change' very well (panic again).

I have little comprehension of time.

Can anyone help?

There is a recent thread in the Special Needs section about something called an "AQ test". It might be worth doing to see if this gives you an answer.

I suppose it's come to a head now because I failed to recognise my niece yesterday. There have been a lot of times recently when I've had real trouble placing someone I should be able to recognise easily.
