has anyone noticed the new girl on ? i watched with the dc yesterday and it gradually dawned on me that the presenter is an amputee! about time there was someone on tv for kids that has this.theres a little girl at school with my dc and she commented on this shes only 10 and what she said was "she wants to be on tv and mabey she can be now" bless- little girl was born with one leg. well done bbc - that was worth the licence fee alone!

About time too. I have noticed the token wheelchair user in postman pat aswell-not sure how long shes been there? (not quite the same thing but interesting none the less)

why doe it say 0 messages when there were 2 up till now????

its much nicer when the SN kids have been thought about too. makes for much improved self confidence in the dc, and shows you dont have to be "averege" and its ok to be different! monstermansmum hows your dc today then? has monsterboy been up to mischief today? dd4 had a bad day , had a meltdown at breakfast, she wouldnt eat, wouldnt dress(let me dress her) and we couldnt get her to nursery. at least she didnt miss her SALT this week( saw yesterday). still smilling though x
