Hi

I posted a while ago about ds1 after I saw our to about suspected sensory issues.

He has been referred to a community paediatrician and I wondered what happens next? How do they examine the child? Tests, questioning? What did you tell your child?

Ds is nearly 6 and I just wonder what he's going to make of it all!!

Hi, our OT done a sensory profile (questionere) one for the family and one in school. Along with what she had observed also.

Morning Debs - Paed should refer to OT. They basically observe while child plays,(usually lots of painting, glitter, messy play) ask you questions and questionare as already mentioned.

We just go to play with 'Beth' (OT's name)once a week.
