does anyone know of specilist thatdeals Sld my son has Gd hes nerly 4 but is totaly non verbl, We are under speeh but the saLt is concerned s no improvement verblly and is unable to blow etc tired when chewing , dess have hypermoblit and hypertonia as well.

he is beginning to pick up signs and i booked myself onto pecs course but if its looking like and is that he not going speak not becuase he cant do it would it be fairer tos top tryng to make him, any help

guess im kinda clutching at straws

do you mean NHS or private? I know that in my city there is a separate NHS SALT team that deal with learning disabilities, but obviously it varies from area to area how they structure these things.

If you mean going private - then if you go on www.helpwithtalking.com there's lists of SALTs in each area, so you can phone up and check out the sort of kids they typically deal with.
