But another thread about transport has brought all this back to my mind. Last year, up til Easter, I had a nasty taxi driver who never got me and the lad I shared a taxi with in to college on time. Anyway, there was other stuff which bugged me but because the company he worked for is the biggest and cheapest in the area I really was stuck! He regularly:

Was on his own with just me in the taxi (every Wednesday)
Bullied me verbally (mickey taking etc)
Brought random girlfriends into said taxi in a morning
Allowed me to travel as a front seat passenger (I dunno if it's allowed).
Talked in great detail about his ahem...activities.
Couldn't get me in on time but was pretty quick to moan if my lessons ran over, wanted me there for 4.30 when that was when lessons ended officially.

What would you have done if you were me/my parents? I can't do anything now obviously but I just wanted to gauge how bad this guy was. We got a lovely driver after Easter from a much smaller company so it all worked out.

Bloody hell

Complain to county. My son used to sit in the front and I'm not sure about the protocol of male taxi drivers being in cars on their own with a girl but the other stuff warranted a complaint.

Its amazing what we put up with. How I ever put up with Richard the taxi for 6 months I don't know - he was a nice guy but just the flakiest man in the world
