Have you seen this AQ test?

I read this board a fair bit, and have read that some of you with Autistic kids reckon you may be on the spectrum yourselves.

I cam across this test while I was looking for info on asperger's as I sometimes suspect dd may be borderline. I scored 32 which certainly makes ME borderline!

thanks!!! R'n'B.... typical i only 'click' after i've made a world wide demonstartion of my gulability!!!!

Davros · 05/04/2005 22:41

MrsF (can't call you Mrsbe), if you want to see the full horror of the "poem incident" you need to find the section on MN called poetry and go to the very start where I posted all the "uplifting" poems that I find upsetting, so we wouldn't have to see them here in SN. I got a telling off by someone who wanted to have a serious discussion about poetry too

coppertop · 05/04/2005 22:44

If you really really want to see the poems and prose, MrsF then have a look in the Poetry section on mumsnet. Davros posted a load of them a while ago to rid the SN board of them.

WARNING: Do NOT read them unless you have a bucket nearby as they will induce vomiting.

coppertop · 05/04/2005 22:45

Cross-posted there!

MrsBeThankful · 05/04/2005 23:01

Hiya
just found your thread, a bit outdated - me that is...
I did the test you mentioned. How do I find out where I am on the scale? I scored 16.

I have to send it to dh, he is more than likely an Aspie. Not that easy to diagnose though... hard work.

cheers for the link.
Hugs

TheRealMrsF · 06/04/2005 12:36

basically anything over 32 indicates a 'possibility' that u are showing some Asperger's symptoms....so you score well away from that!!!

Is that what u expected!!!!

(i'm the Mrsf from the pther thread and i scored 35......now you can see why THAT thread had you so confused....I am away with the fairies!!!! Coppertop and i often ramble on together ....whilst the rest of you have sensible conversations!!!!!)

coppertop · 06/04/2005 13:15

I am always sensible, MrsF.

coppertop · 06/04/2005 13:37

Can I just nominate ds2 for the "Eccentric Toddler of the Year" award? He's currently wearing nothing but a nappy and a pair of blue Thomas boots (which he is now trying to fit inside ds1's Spiderman boots!) while 'reading' dh's electronics catalogue.

TheRealMrsF · 06/04/2005 17:47

shall i name you captain then????

(or r u too young to remember him!!!!)

coppertop · 06/04/2005 17:53

Sadly I am old enough to remember. Where would we be without that 'marvellous' rendition of "Happy Talk" (or whatever it was called!)?

STALK!

TheRealMrsF · 06/04/2005 17:56

pheweeeee!

coppertop · 06/04/2005 18:02

"Happy stalking stalking
Happy stalk.
Talk about stalking MrsF..."

TheRealMrsF · 06/04/2005 18:05

Oh you r a one!!!!!

Actually that's your BEST word play yet!!!!!

JakB · 06/04/2005 19:39

OK, DD's supervisor has just done this test and scored 34. She needed alot of help understanding the questions!

No, I'm not. When it says, 'Do you focus on the bigger picture or the small details?' (or something like that), she said, 'it depends which painting I'm looking at'!!!!!

juicychops · 06/04/2005 21:15

i scored 10 is that good?

beccaboo · 06/04/2005 21:47

Coppertop, ROFL at your description of ds2

i got 20

amber32002 · 02/10/2008 16:51

Ah yes, the AQ test. 43 for me, but that'd be expected .

Anything above 32 is supposed to mean "you could go ask a professional to do a proper assessment".

Seen the SQ and EQ ones as well? eqsq.com/

coppertop · 02/10/2008 20:39

What was the ex-DH post about???

It wasn't the ex of someone who originally posted on this thread was it?

coppertop · 02/10/2008 20:49

I think I've found the answer elsewhere. Sorry for bringing it up again.

Liffey · 02/10/2008 21:08

Wallace, that is interesting. I scored 50. I have a child with an ASD. Does that mean I have it too?

I like socialising but sort of make myself do it. I wouldn't say I was diplomatic though, and I have been rude without meaning to be. But I am always the friend who remembers other people's birthdays.
When I was at work, people used to laugh at me because I never knew or understood the office politics. I used to get annoyed because they just didn't tell me what was going on. I don't have any obsessions though, just interests.
