piedro boots

dd2 has grown out of her first pair of piedro boots, so wondering if anyone would like them (if waiting for boots for their little one) - they've still loads of wear in them and would definitely tide someone over.
size 20, red
would just need the postage cost for them

I kept mine!! (Ds1's not 'mine'!) They look so tiny and 'unworn' compared to his later ones! Same as nuru-I have several pairs in bigger sizes, Navy that may be of use to people. Not sure what sizes I have but he is now in 1's so probably 11-13's ish if any one is interested.

our physio keeps them in the cupboard to give to newbies when they waiting for their first pair... worth asking if you get no response on here?
(i love the red btw, my fave. we have to have boring black for school now)

I still have ds1's 1st pair of piedros. They look so tiny now ...Ds1 is now 20! I only kept that 1st pair. I donated the rest via physio to a charity that sent them to Romania iirc. Romanian orphanages were very much in the news at the time.

Hi.. Im new to the site !! My daughter (4_ years old)is the proud owner of a pair of peidro boots ( size 27 red and rather scruffy already!!) I have been pulling my hair out trying to get either trainers or 'House shoes' for her as I am a childminder and I do not want her treading on anyones baby in her heavy shoes !! Have told hospital that I am prepared to pay but they were not interested. All the sites on line say that the order must go through the doctor. Anyone got any ideas?? would really appreciate it!! many thanks.

I've bought an extra pair of shoes for use at home from a local independent shop (tried Clarks initially but they had neither the range nor fitting expertise I found)
Managed to find one with an experienced fitter with working knowledge of piedros who understood exactly what was required and came away with a lightweight but very supportive pair of shoes/boots- Austrian or German make I think. Obviously Dd wears the piedros for support most of the time but it's good to have something else too. My suggestion would be to look/ask around as I was pleasantly surprised.
