My cleaner has just phoned and can't come in this week (I usually ask her to come in extra during school holidays as she's like a mothers help).

I don't have any lunch in the house (for me have gf bread for the boys) and as she's not coming can't go out and get any. No formula either (well I do but I'm out of the brand ds3 has been using). Again was going to pop out whislt she was here.

no wonder I haven't got enough milk this time round.

Bugger. Am wishing I'd chased up SS now!

And of couse I'm sitting in a shit heap. Was going to take ds1 out so she could hoover.

ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH.

Do Tesco deliver where you are? You can do an online order and have it delivered today if you're quick. I have it in my head that you have to complete your order before 10am but I can't actually find that on the website. Any use?

I do have a friend coming this over this afternoon but she has 2 children- one she's just adopted with ADHD and ???? some sort of language disorder/learning difficulties (so probably not worth tidying up then!!!) and one who has just had something hideous happen (not sure what- probably a large seizure cauaing brain damage). her mobility has been affected and I am terrified she's going to fall over some of the crap in my house and do herself some serious damage. Was looking forward to having some space cleared. And some adult company. My poor cleaner is ill as well so I should be thinking about that.

Not really marthmoo- I can't get it delivered whilst ds1 is up and about (he'll be dancing in the street, or screaming the place down to get out) and I need the stuff this morning.

Jimjams - just knew this would be one of your threads! Hope you made it through the afternoon - I was thinking of you when I was dragging my 4 round Tesco this afternoon - only one with (mild) SN, but still enough dirty looks from other shoppers to make me feel like a leper. Thank God for internet shopping. By the way, our ds2 still asks when we're going past the flowers bit in supermarkets 'are we going to buy some flowers for Jimjams?'!
Good that your dh came home for lunch - did he bring anything good to eat?

aww bless jimjams. I met a mum last week and i am going to hers as i know she will not make it to my house with her two and I will only just make it to hers. We laughed about the most bizarre things , honestly. it is great entertainment - if you have a dry sick sense of humour like me

Oh jimjams, poor you.

I thought I had it bad this morning. DH had been playing with his new toy, a PS2, last night and I couldn't get the TV/video or DVD to work this morning. We had used the last of the milk for cereal, had a dishwasher full of dirty dishes...and no tablets!
DS has,shall we say, a rather funny tummy and has to keep running to the loo, have changed his clothes several times today! ..both kiddies are coughing away...and by the looks of it- dd has a grotty nose, I think she is coming down with whatever ds has!!

Oh the joys of the school hols!

Well this afternoon was insane. 3 autistic kids, 2 NT ones (who were easy) 1 baby (who had to be carried as there were so many insane children around) and one ADHD/language delay learning difficulty mix. I cannt begin to tell you how hideous it was!

Thank god ds3 is sleeping through- means I can have wine tonight. I need it.

Jimjams, huge sympathy - sounds a bit horrendous. But wow! about ds3 sleeping through. He sounds like a boy who is going to be very, very kind to his mummy!

No, I don't curse you - it's ds2 that says it, and it just reminds what a little sweetie he is - maybe one day he will be the sort of man (UNLIKE his father!) who spontaneously buys flowers for people. I'm quite sure ds1 won't - has already pointed out that it's stupid, because they just die don't they?? (I assume he means the flowers, but maybe I'm wrong...)

Actually had a lovely day- ds1 and ds2 were kind of playing together! Really amazing. DS2 was running round copying ds1 who was tolerating it at first but then it turned into a peekaboo game, and he was joining in as much as ds2.

Also ds1 found some photos of our old house in London (moved when he was 2) and he sat staring at them fascinated.
