dd4 wont go to bed, hasn't been to bed for 3 days, has decided the sofa is a better place to sleep,......except tonight shes sitting at the dining table in the kitchen with a duvet on her head, sitting perfectly still, perfectly quiet .....my babys gone bonkers!

Reminds me of when DS decided he was going to live in the garage, instead of the house.
You have to have a sense of humour.

Is she upset about something in her bedroom, or is this just something different to try out? Our garage thing happened after visiting grandad, who has a bit of a den in his garage and spends much of his time in there.

If it makes you feel any better DS1 (10 AS) has slept on the sofa for the last 6 months !! He has a perfectly nice bed in a perfectly nice bedroom, but for whatever reason prefers the sofa?!?!? It's not causing me any bother, he's happy and he knows where his bed if if he wants it - so Im just leaving him to it!!

DS1 (16 ADHD) has been sleeping on his bedroom floor for the last 2 years - beside his perfectly good bed (tried it myself, its comfy!)

So, just before xmas i got sneaky and took the legs off his bed and put it where he normally sleeps... hey presto hes now back in a bed!

I know it wasnt harming anyone - but i was getting increasingly worried about the hunch in his back .

PMSL at sleeping on the table tho!
