has anyone used computers or a programme to give their child a voice im just looking at options so can head of the frustration tantrums#

dd is being assessed right now and will get a communication aid after Xmas.
Some use scanning - either visual or auditory or both and the child hits a switch. Some are touch screen if your child has hand function.
The Mytobii is eye pointing scanning for those with good eyeball control but no hand function.
There's so many out there and it depends on what your child's physical capabilities are.
They all start with pictures or symbols for those that can't read yet.
