annoy me so much I want to throw her out of the window.
love me and trust me so much I feel like the most important person in the world.
love her brother so much, I feel like I could leave and she wouldn't notice.

My Ds1 can:
make me smile the way he will tell us that "Santa have a beard" or "Santa is a boy" because that is the most important aspect of that character to him.

make me proud of his fantastic memory.

make me laugh at the way he finds the word "flippers" hysterically funny.

Laugh like a drain whenever anyone sneezes! Why, I dunno. Makes me laugh too.

Can I post about my mum seeing as I have no kids yet?

I love how my mum:
Always knows if I'm about to land in big trouble (I swear, she has radar for people who might give me aggro)
Still kisses me goodnight even though I'm 19
Is so positive about me getting a job in the media, even with my sight.
Will always tell me if a pair of glasses I want don't suit me, or her purse!
But will always suggest another pair
Will point out little things I may not see.

She drives me mad too, a lot of the time....but BOY do I love her to bits!

DS can still
Sit up
Hold his head up
try to put his dummy back in his mouth (and fails, bless)
cuddle up to mum in the most awkward position, so I must be the comfiest person alive
astound me with his courage

  • all despite suffering the Godforsaken infantile spasms and the, quite frankly, horrific effect the steroids are having on him. especially when I'm sulking coz I've got a serious dose of the manflu and I'm ready to curl up under the duvet and hide - he's dealing with his problems far better than I'm coping with my ickle cold.
I couldn't be more proud .

DS2 can make me smile just watching his pure joy at horseriding (RDA), even though he looks as though his head may fall off!

-he can make me cry at assembly as he signed his way through it.

-he can make me remember how lovely my DH and DS1 are when I can sometimes cheerfully throttle them. The way they are with him makes me love them even more.

I really miss him now he is at school, even though I couldn't wait for him to start.

TotalChaos · 08/12/2008 12:46

be a right pedant just like his trainspotter daddy!

Arabica - DS used to do that too, and think the word achoo was the funniest word in the world!

Well about ten minutes after posting my comment about missing him now he is at school, I got a phonecall asking me to get him as he is unwell!

I think he gave them a fright acutally as he has poor circulation and his lips had gone a dodgy colour and he was dozing to sleep.

Still he's home now under a blanket with a hot chocolate and a very satisfied smile on his face.

My DS can think of the funniest jokes and puns imaginable, brand new ones, and talk almost anyone into doing almost anything, which makes up for all the things he can't do, bless him.
