Statement review went really well,LEA pleased for him to stay at the independent school
They said he needs help with anger management,anxiety and emotional difficulties and thats what they are concentrating on for the next year, really proud of him,hes done so well there.
DD
CAMHS psych went into school,she then phoned me,no dx yet as they want to sort the toilet phobia out,she said,
School have agreed not to undertake ANY form of toilet training,i have explained to them about her high anxiety.
She said it does need tackling,which we agreed,and she is referring her to the clinical psych consultant for help with desensitising her,she will visit us at home and visit DD in school to give them advice as well,but not until after xmas cos she wants DD to de-stress and calm down.
She said DD is doing really well in school and is settled although was quite anxious at first.
so am feeling so happy today,happy and proud of DS and happy that DD is not going to be put under any unecessary pressure by school and that CAMHS are on our side for once,shock horror!!!!
