Hugs and virtual vibes for you and DD . Let us know how you get on!

she's having botox, dental thing and tube under the same GA.
I feel like a terrible mother to poor unsuspecting dd now
I hate having to do these things to her

best to just have one GA rather than 3 separate ones though. best wishes for the op and recovery, and well done for getting it sorted.

Glad those Dr.s sorted themselves out (tho I suspect you did the sorting) so DD gets the one GA. Thinking lots of positive thoughts for you and DD. Hope she recovers quickly xx

im sure it'll be fine, ds's appetite is back to normal now, i pureed things for the first few days because of the fundo, but now back to eating lumpy stuff.

he's up to 700mls of the nutrini pepti now so thats 700 extra calories every day and its been really easy going so far and meds are down in a few seconds.

had him at the dentist last week where he usually pukes because of the latex gloves at his mouth but despite retching for a few minutes nothing came up....so the fundo seems to be working, also no more wet bibs so the dribbling was obviously water brash from the reflux.

We are on ward 31 with my dd on the 3rd for her gastrostomy, I am feeling pretty nervous too xxx

needmorecoffee · 25/11/2008 18:37

I'll pop down and say hi so if you see someone wondering around shouting Lottie, that'll be me If you want a mumsnet vistor that is.
dd is going on ward 38 cos it has individual cubicles with en suite bathrooms . I made a massive fuss.
I really don't know if it is the right thing. dd is eating ok, just not very much.

My dd eats well when she's well but stops when she's poorly and doesn't have the reserves, she enjoys eating and I don't want it to get to the point where every meal is a struggle, will keep her hydrated etc etc ( am I convincing anyone? I'm pretty sure most of the time, lol) Oooh wish we had a private room, she will keep the whole ward awake with her night time yelling, but hey ho. I can't see if you can pm on here or I'd send you my mobile number xxx
