oh no, what a nasty experience for you all. hope you feel better now.

needmorecoffee · 25/11/2008 10:25

I think they all pull it out (well, dd wont as her arms don't work).
We were told to go straight to A&E within an hour if it came out.
Did the balloon deflate or burst?
Poor you and poor dd

trace2 · 25/11/2008 10:45

it says half an hour it starts to heal weput a cathiture in to keep it open was a nightmare, we think it deflated it just dropped out but it did hurt her still moaning this morning i feel so helpess

friend of mine shoved a biro (wihtout the cetral inky bit) into the hole to keep it open then drove to the hozzie.
Unlike me who would run around panicking and shreking in an undignified fashion.

Hope to see you soon

BriocheDoree · 25/11/2008 13:23

And I thought I'd had a bad morning (See my other post - DD fell against the glass door of my oven and smashed it into a billion billion tiny pieces but not herself fortunately). Hope she's OK Trace. Nasty shock for you all, I'm sure! Bet she'll calm down sooner than you will, poor mite.

supportman · 25/11/2008 13:24

Once shown how to do it, changing or replacing a mickey button is easy. We always have a spare button when out and it saves a trip to the hospital and worry of the stoma closing up.

trace2 · 25/11/2008 17:00

thanks all dd ok now hi wota

BriocheDoree glad dd is ok but i thought the glass on oven not suposed break

supportman yes i think we could do it now
