If you have to know what you were talking about I would have been booted out ages ago.

Post away I say - even comparing traits/symptons is useful - makes you feel like you aren't alone and you aren't going mad for 'imagining' things. You don't have to have a dx.

I wish I had known about MN and had asked more questions when DS was getting dxed. Maybe I wouldn't still be confused about his dx now!

Dragonbrandybutter · 27/11/2008 13:42

i lurk

VictorianSqualor · 27/11/2008 14:01

lol niecie, not know what I'm talking about, but know what it's really like to have an SN child, which is stupid, because Dd does have SN, but I think because it's not severe I should count my chickens and feel a bit of a tit complaining about it when others are going through so much worse.

TheShipsCat · 27/11/2008 14:12

What Idris said. Hope its OK, but I lurk here from time to time because I have no knowledge of SN, but would like to learn and understand more.

Niecie · 27/11/2008 14:16

VS - DS isn't severe either and I feel like I am making a fuss over nothing but at the same time it is nice to talk it over with people who are going through the same thing. Even minor difficulties make life just a little bit harder than they do for an 'average' children.

Don't think of it as 'complaining', think of it as 'unburdening'.

I feel similar to sibling about posting in Sn tbh.

I have posted a few times to ask questions about DD's dyspraxia but on other threads I don't feel I 'know' enough to comment iyswim.

I feel the same sometimes as I only know about my stuff(cp)
