Yip-we put ds's in hot chocolate/'pinkmilk' and oj/apple juice.

Yes but ds doesn't like the taste in milk (he has quite a lot)

well, my DS2 has his in ornage juice as he will never take it alone, so yup, milk would be ok too IMO, especially if that is all he would drink.
