im not sure im afraid as ds only 3.6 has ASD havent yet had to go for statement although have to send his off in dec to request one
i would say the same contact LEA and request a statement from what im aware also you can send them to school of your choice when you have statement so maybe look into other schools that may have more sn input or knowledge as this school seems very unproffesional and ill equiped to deal with such needs
you could go to local CAB and ask advise they could point in all directions on what steps to take hopefully someone else will come along with better advise for you but didnt want to leave unansweredx
