Have just had a lengthy discussion with DS (HFA) re the Disney Cars he wants for Christmas all with his eyes shut tightly because I am eating vegetable noodles for lunch and he can't bear to look at them.

It made me laugh but feel sad too. Poor little boy to find it so hard to even look at a plate of noodles.

Hmm, not sure. Do they look like worms?

DS2 often puts his arm across his eyes but it's very difficult to work out what he anxious about seeing as he's not verbal enough to tell me. Sometimes he has one arm across his eyes and the other up over his ear.

Noodles are completely disgusting though! Ugh!

I'm with Amber on this one. They always look like worms to me too.

Almummy I wrote a nearly identical post months back about my DS ASD. He was actually trembling at my noodles which was odd. I figured it was just too confusing for him to look at. He gets the same at sparkles.
