we've got the talking photo album too - if anyone thinks it's too baby-ish in design, Inclusive technology do one to, for similar price iirc (just a plain flip photo album)

we are going to use ours to "include" dh at bedtime (he rarely gets home to see the dds before bedtime) ie, pictures of dh brushing dd1's teeth, etc, then reading her a story, then saying goodnight, as dd1 really struggles with not seeing dh in the week

yes, that's like the Inc Tech one.

we're not sure whether dd1 will like the album, or be a bit freaked at daddy's voice coming from a photo, but we can but try (she really does not understand why she doesn't see him in the week - I think she thinks he forgets about her in the week )

Wow,
these look really good - think I may invest in one for DD. Its nice to find something that is not too babyish looking... DD is 12

Does anyone know which one has the longest time to record a message, or are they all 10 seconds? I can imagine dd flicking over the pages sooo fast that she wont hear the recording, but def worth a shot. ;-)

Try Fledglings - a charity which sells toys and other things and helpful advice.
