Hi everyone, just thought i would pop in and say hello. Alot has happened with me and DS, we had to appeal both Statement and DLA no shock there really.

We won both, they gave me more hours on statement and went from middle rate to high rate care. It was a long tough road but we got there eventually. Alot of the advice i had on here helped so thanks for that.

We are just starting to get our lives back on track and it's DS birthday in Jan, i have the best birthday planned ever!! We both deserve it.

I hope you are all doing ok, tclanger sorry i lost touch but i hope you are well.

Anyway take care all of you x

I have been lurking but not posting (and sometimes didnt even want to lurk ) for a little while because I just fet like I needed a little time shut away.

Been posting a bit in the last few days and have had lovely responses from the always supportive parents here.

Good to see you back.

Welcome back, even if it's only for a quick visit.

Congratulations on winning those appeals.

Welcome back Great news about the appeals

Thanks guys, you all did more than you know for me and DS. I would have crumbled without the support from some of MN.

DS is very happily settled into nursery with 1 to 1 who he adores. I feel like i have a life again, even if it does revolve around autism. I have met some fab mums through a support help group and i'm learning to take one day at a time. Some days are crap and some are amazing.
In the middle of earlybird, lovin the filming....NOT but again it gets me meeting other families.

I will be popping back more reg now, i need to catch up on everyone.
