carers allowance

do you know if theres any reason i shouldnt get carers allow allowance my dp works full time on quite a good wage although mr tax man takes most and so do our bills

ds on high rate care have applied but have to wait 2-6 weeks for outcome is there any real specifics to be accepted or declined? thanks

Do you work bubblagirl? have you claimed for it in your name or your DPs?

i dont work and ive claimed in my name my job is my son im afraid dp works away and very long hours so its all down to me

i see no reason why you shouldnt get tbh. i know the wait is a PITA but the will back pay it when its awarded.

I get carers allowance for DD1 she also get high rate care and low rate mobility.

thank you very much at this time of year it would help us out so much with dreaded bills and x mas especially as i cant work have no help with child care and with ds sn no one really wants to be responsible not that i mind
