Abbreviations

I'm new to this and wading through the Mumsnet/Special Needs world. Could you help me with a few abbreviations please?

CDC
SALT
EP (Ed Psych?)
NT
FTT
CF

I'm sure I'll come up against others I don't know so expect more of the same.

If you look at the top of the screen there is a link called "Acrnoyms List". It's ages since I looked at it but I'm sure most of the SN abbreviations are in there too.

CDC = child development centre
SALT = speech and langauage therapist
NT = neurotypical
CF = Cystic Fybrosis

not sure about the FTT one

FTT = Failure to thrive (I think!)

Karen - I tried the Acronym List after reading Coppertops post and managed to get in. I just noticed that you're around again at the moment, so it might be worth another try.
