Trisomy illnesses

Hey all Im Kat and my daughter was born with a illness called trisomy 13/patous syndrome, id never heard of this before id actually given birth they told us she would live through the night but she proved everyone wrong she lived 22 months.
Has anyone ever heard of this before

Hello Kat and welcome to this board. I'm very sorry to hear that your daughter died. I'ld heard of this syndrome but don't know a great deal about it.

I no what u mean 22 months is fantastic isnt it, When i had her they thought id keep all her problem from her dad my husband as he hadnt mentioned how ill she was, it took them 3 days to visit her and the rest only ever visit when she was christened only ever seen the rest of inlaws at christmas and birthdays so they never really bothered anyway
