Agggghhhhhhhhhh! Exciting! Nervous and apprehensive and really pleased.

She slept from 3pm yesterday till this morning. Got up today, desperate for a 'dink', so guzzled down a full bottle of mile and then was promplty sick all over my bed! First time she's ever puked! It was just because of the milk, she's fine.

Anyway, she allowed me to plait her her in two little braids down the side and off she went with her packed lunch.

9.30am - 3.30pm

Can't wait to get a full report and more importantly see how she copes with it all, will only really be able to gauge that at the weekend i suppose.

Bless her

doing it in front of the mirror whilst she brushes her teeth in the morning seems to work - but only if I am doing a ponytail...

know what you mean about the hairdressers - dd1 had had two hair cuts in her life... hair is soo long now. Am thinking of getting my hairdresser to cut it next time - she does house visits and hopefully we can work out some distraction method.

LOL about the hair traumas! Dd is nearly 4 and has only had two haircuts in her life - she slept through the first one and the second was such hardwork we haven't been back since. It's desperate now though and I couldn't put it off any longer. I took the plunge and rang the hairdresser's at weekend. She offered me two dates during the Easter holidays when dh and I are off for a week with dd. One was my birthday, which I didn;t fancy ruining(!) and the other was April 1st, which I thought was highly appropriate - just not sure who the fool is, me for taking her or the hairdresser for accepting the appointment after last time!!!!!
