Was asked to attend assembly at mainstream school today. What a surprise when dd1 was awarded Student of the Week for her class. She received a red ribbon ( which did not stay pinned to her shirt for long )

her class also sang on Assembly - Twinkle Twinkle. She sand beautifully and did all the actions.

A very proud mummy. I was a little choked up when she went up to get her award.

Ah - how wonderful! I practically exploded with pride when DS2 took part in sports day so can imagine how you felt

she can't wait to go to the special ed unit she attends on Fridays now to tell her teacher about her award.
