have just opened my post to find I have been awarded carers allowance and have a huge back payment!!!!

We are going away for the weekend for ds2s 5 th birthday so I can relly spoil both my boys!!

This is a really bright light in my day as have been feeling the strain of dealing with ds1s AS and have just made an appt to see doc re going back on ads

So this has cheered me muchly!!!!

congrats yummy, same has happened to me, backpaid from february!!! so we are taking dd to disneyland paris next week as a treat before she starts school in september. Its so nice when good things happen occasionally.

Rosie, don't know what your DD's SN are but a word of advice about Disneyland Paris. (I live just west of Paris and I was there last week). It's great, but it's really LOUD. My DD has a few sensory issues and when they have the little train with the characters on she was terrified! Once we avoided it by ducking into shops every time they came out she was fine.
Anyway, congrats to both of you on your carers all. makes a big difference I'm sure!

thanks for the tip brioche, my dd has asd but doesn't seem to be affected byloud noise and seems to cope ok with loud busy situations but i will be on the lookout for little trains lol!!!!
