Softer collar school shirts recommendations?

Hi, no diagnosis here but it didn't seem to fit in any other topics! DD4 in reception has various sensory issues with clothes, they're allowed to wear the summer dress up until half term, but then it's shirt & tie after that (don't get me started on a tie for 4yo's..!)

Does anyone have recommendations for white shirts with softer/lie flat collars? Have looked in a couple of places, but it seems hard to tell if it would fit the bill. Have tried our current Tu ones, but results in a thrashing meltdown 🤦🏻‍♀️ Socks have also been an issue ,but hoping imminent delivery from Sockshop with Seamfree ones will work 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thanks!

I have never used them, but you could try Sensory Smart’s shirts. Although IIRC they only start at 5-6, so depending on DD’s size, they might be a little big. If you haven’t already tried them, you could try shirts that are 100% organic cotton. Eczema clothing do them. As do Eco-outfitters and John Lewis.

Alternatively, if you can’t find shirts that will work, you can speak to the school about reasonable adjustments. For example, allowing a polo shirt.

Brilliant, thanks! I can dream of a polo shirt..annoyingly they dangled a 'more relaxed uniform' consultation at us about 6m ago, but it's all gone very quiet since..Given my independent girls school went to no ties 34yrs ago and both of my former employers (in pretty traditional sectors) moved to a more relaxed order of dress 10+ yrs ago, why oh why are we still dressing 4yo's like mini office workers from the 1960s?! Rant over 🤣
Will have a look 👍🏼

Even without a change to the uniform policy, the school must make reasonable adjustments. That could be a polo shirt or a t-shirt.
