I have arranged to meet dd's new sw on friday. totally forgot that it is a tt day and dd will be home.
shall I just let sw come as then she can meet dd too?

Let her see what you are dealing with every day, it makes good sense for her to meet your dd.

Yes. We had a good result with dps after the SW visited to find ds1 refusing to allow any lights on and us stumbling around in the dark (the clocks had just changed and I hadn't got around to tackling the behaviour - it was on my 'to do' list). Tell dd to be as difficult as possible!
