Hi all, after some advice on whether this is normal and I need to just suck it up and be grateful.
Ds started at a sen provision last week. We got the yes 2 days before schools broke up in July. The school is wonderful and so far he loves it but they seem to be very laid back about actually having him in the school. He has started going 3 days a week for a few hours each day. I assumed we would build this up each week to a full timetable but they won't give me a clear answer of when he can attend full time.
I asked to drop him off an hour earlier on friday and they said yes but could then I pick him up an hour early 😂 they have also asked if I can drop him to another site that they work with that provides outdoor sen education but won't give clear answers about the times or even the address of the facility. Its all very laid back.
Its causing me a huge amount of stress as I am a single parent, no parents, siblings or support system to help. I run my own business that I have to be physically present for to earn money so this laid back approach is killing me. I also have other children so really need to get back to work and into a regular routine.
