Dh went off for parent teacher progress interview for dd1 at mainstream school tonight.

We have a report card from SN dept which is very good.

Teachers' feedback was good.

Dd1 is progressing very well and is loving prep. Dh got to watch a short power point presentation which had some fab stuff that dd1 is doing at Prep.

We also got her first formal school photos from mainstream school - I had to choke back tears. Not only is the pic gorgeous but she just looks like all the other children in the class. I can't believe how far she has come.

they are very pleased with her progress and are looking forward to having her four days a week next term.

My baby is 6 in just over a month and so grown up.

I did not go as I usually chat with teacher's every afternoon and I have just been through and IEP meeting. Apparently the power point is available for me to see tomorrow. I will probably cry.

She can't be nearly 6 already! Where has the time gone?

Well done to dd1 for all her hard work.

Enjoy the power point stuff, and don't forget to take some tissues.
