EHCP declined

I know what I need to do next and have already fired off some emails but I just need to vent that my child who literally cannot access full time school has been denied an EHCP. The EP report clearly stated that "ordinarily available provision" isn't sufficient!

Appeal.

Separate to the EHCP process, if DC is unable to attend school full-time, is alternative provison in place?

Yep, had to appeal to get EHCNA so same process again..
Working on AP with school but it's slow progress

Under section 19 of the Education Act 1996, the LA is ultimately responsible for AP if DC is unable to attend school. If it isn’t in place, contact the LA.
