Can anyone reccomend a all terrain (so big wheels) buggy that would fit my small ish 8 year old. Definitely can't afford the sen buggies. So would be looking at alternatives/second hand.

Ideally needs to fold down or not be humongous to fit in the card boot.

Thank you

Unless DC is off the charts small, at 8, even a small 8, you are looking at SN buggies, particularly if you want whatever you get to last.

Have you looked at charity grants? There are several charities who help fund SN buggies.

I can recommend Delichon Delta buggies. Excellent. They come in various sizes from small to XL. We had charity funding for one and I know others people who have had charity funding too.

Not quite as expensive and regularly come up second hand are Special Tomato Joggers. Not as good on all terrain types as the Delichon Delts buggies, IMO, but copes well with most types of surfaces. Can fit in boots that are quite small. I have seen one (with the wheels off) in a fiesta. A special tomato jogger wouldn’t last as long - height is until about 135cm depending on proportions. We used it a bit longer than this. I also know several who have had charity funding for these. It was many years ago now and DS1 outgrew his a long time ago but we had charity funding.

Axiom Phoenix and Axiom Endeavour buggies are good all-terrain SN buggies. Not as good as Delichon’s IMO. Doesn’t don’t fold as small (or at least the bigger sizes don’t, not sure about the smaller sizes) but cheaper. Again, charity funding is possible. We have the phoenix (long story why we have two) and we received charity funding for it.

try a mountain buggy terrain. Think the weight limit is 25kg. It folds in half and will fit in a super mini boot.

Excel elise xl has a weight limit of 50kg and is umbrella style. From personal experience I'm not sure it would fit your need of all terrain but it might be worth a look at.
