Hi, does anyone know what the wait time is for renewals at the moment?
This is the 1st time I have done it and just want to know if I will have to wait 30 weeks again like I did with my 1st claim? And if I don't have a decision by the time my claim ends what will happen?
Thanks in advance 😁

Apparently they do the ones nearer to the end of the claim first regardless of wether you sent it in early or not.
I sent my sons last renewal in three weeks before the deadline and it was renewed five days before it ran out
If you get your form in on time they really should reassess in time

Renewals are generally looked at in relation to the end date of the claim rather than solely on date the form is received by DWP.

As long as you returned the form in good time, you will have a decision by the end date. If you don’t return it until just before the end date, it may not be.

Hi ladies. My daughter is on mrc and turned 5 in October. I received the renewal forms in late November and sent them back quickly and my scan date is 2nd December. My daughers claim dosnt expire until April anywya. Payments have all been fine, im not due to be paid for another 2 weeks and I woke up this morning with a random £233. Has this ever happened to anyone?
