Hi l, I rang dla today to ask for an update for a new claim they said it’s still with the decision maker but I can see there’s a pending payment on my bank so does that mean they’ve made a decision?

Yes it seems like they ve made a decision to award it

Why didn’t they just tell me that today on the phone though?

Occasionally there's a slight lag between a decision maker deciding and the letter going on the system so it could have been just before you called them.
