I feel like an absolute failure of a parent today,I just cannot believe how could I possibly fail something as simple as this.
Last year my 6yo daughter at a time has been referred through school to CCS for ADHD assessment. I have always wondered how long will it take to hear anything, but only today, 15months later I have realised my mistake.
When received the referral acceptance letter which stated that “I must reply to this email”, along with content for sharing information form, I didn’t read the very tiny print on the actual form, and in consequence I have unfortunately sent the form back to the wrong email address. Never heard back and neither did the email mentioned it being an automatic reply system.
I have of course emailed them, wondering whether she’s still on a waiting list or have we been removed or might be refused in the future, but I am dreading the reply, especially now it’s a weekend.
Hence I am here hoping anyone would maybe had some relevant information or maybe a word of advice? Would be much appreciated.
Let me go and cry about it while I wait.
