School Form Completion Query

Hello, I have a question about how long it is reasonable to give schools to complete paperwork for a private ADHD assessment?

I'm going private for my daughter to try to avoid the 2-year waiting list in our area. I have been given two forms that the school needs to complete before I can book the private assessment. The waitlist for this is approximately 10 weeks.

Of the 2 forms the school has to complete one is the same as they already completed when they first started looking into whether they felt there was evidence to support them making an NHS referral. So essentially, it's just one form to be completed anew.

They have had the forms for 2 weeks now, and I'm itching to chase them, but I do appreciate how busy they are. So I'm wondering how long a reasonable timeframe is to wait before following up with them?

The beginning of the academic year is a very busy time, so I would give it at least a couple more weeks.

Depending on what it is, the form that has already been completed may still need time allocated to it if the school needs to check the previous responses are still up to date.
