EHCP checking service

Are there any recommended services who can annotate a ‘now final’ EHCP in readiness for mediation. I have ensured all is in there from reports but now need to have the woolly wording amending.

SOSSEN offers a draft checking service (which can also look at already finalised EHCPs).

However, if the reports are poor, the EHCP will be too. So is it that the reports use vague and woolly wording or is it that the LA has watered down the provision? You posting you ‘have ensured all is in there from reports’ suggests it is the former. In which case you would need to tighten up the wording in the evidence. You could request the LA goes back to the report writers, you could seek independent evidence, or, if you appeal, you could ask SENDIST to direct the LA to go back to the report writers.
