Hi all,
i sent my daughters DLA claim form off this morning but realised I’ve made a mistake!
so I’ve repeatedly stated the use and importance of her ear defenders and fidget toys but under ‘aids and adaptions’ I ticked no as I didn’t realise it came under a category!
will this jeopardise my claim?
many thanks.

No it wont go against the claim. Tbh they dont seem to take much care or attention to things like that it's all care needs theyre looking for (what a child needs an adult to help with) so as long as you stated what you have to do for the child or help them with when they need to use those things it should be grand

I wouldn’t worry. It shouldn’t hurt your claim. If you are really worried, you could always give them a call in a couple of weeks or you could write a letter.

Thank you so much for taking the time for your replies , I definitely feel a lot better now! The form took soooo long and is so overwhelming , fingers crossed for a positive outcome
