Quieter Holiday destination

We’re looking to book a resort abroad next summer.
We would like a quieter resort with a few pools, direct beach access and a town with lots if restaurants, not too touristy but not too remote.
Our son is 8 and has mild/moderate asd.

Any recommnedation?

look at Pine cliffs in Portugal if mobility isn’t an issue.
Easy flight time and it has everything you need.

What kind of accommodation are you after @Emzy1984? I find with my DD that we need at least a couple of rooms, like a bedroom and a small kitchen/sitting area. Sometimes she is overwhelmed and we need to cook something really plain for her and sometimes she needs to just be alone.

Portugal is a really good suggestion. Should be a fairly short flight and no jury lag to deal with.
