Don’t trust in laws with DS

DS is nine he has ASC, language delay and no sense of danger, My Parents in law feel bitter DH and I have never let them take him out anywhere alone or do the school.run. They aren’t the most attentive people, they’re time keeping is really bad, they’ve shown limited interest in DS more so MIL and FIL thinks it’s funny to put his Grandchildren in potential danger, pulling them down the stairs by their legs, trying to close doors on them, sitting them on kitchen work tops . Am I right not to allow them to be alone with DS?

He has aired his views, that he doesn’t trust his DF. I will suggest we all go out together as long as at least one of us DP supervise DS at all times

Pulling them down the stairs by the legs is more than being inattentive.

Of course you are right not to leave DS with someone who will pull him down the stairs!
