Swimming goggles

My DS is 11 and has ASD. He has always struggled with his swimming goggles... according to him they don't fit properly, fog up, fill up with water... etc.
So, I've bought him many different types over the years but he finds fault with all of them. His current set are these: Speedo Futura - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BK7HZ2L?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2 .

He says they fill up with water. His swimming teacher has checked them and she says the fit is fine and they are good quality goggles. I have to think this is his ASD is taking over, but that still doesn't help him.

Could it be the shape perhaps? Maybe they feel too restrictive. I've seen others that are bigger - more like the snorkelling type of goggle shape. I wondered if anyone here has experienced this with their children? Any advice? 🙏

No idea on specific types of goggles, but make sure the strap sits on the crown of his head rather than going straight back in a straight line. I think this is often why goggles don’t seem to fit.

Sorry if you’ve already tried that, I’ve not other ideas.

I can’t get my boy to put them on at all.

Ah thanks for your reply, and I'm sorry to hear you DS is struggling too. Sometimes these things are so frustrating. I think we have got the strap set up correctly, but certainly I will certainly try shifting it around if that will mean I don't have to buy another pair!
