Hello

My 7yo has 3/4 x 5mg tranquilyn IR per day. He is naturally a slow processor (but academically able once his brain kicks in)

School feel he has been slowed down further by the mephlinidate but have seen excellent improvement in impulsiveness, ive cut his first pill in half which helps but im thinking either to ask l for atomoxine or concerta (with its 20/70 release profile) at thr next appt.

He cant really be on a lower dose so im going to ask to change, the dr has previously felt tranqulyn is good as i have only seen positive changes but the school are unhappy with how spaced put he is.

He also has a fast metabolism which is why he has 3/4 tablets, also maybe why it hits so hsrd first thing?
