Family fund - how does it work?

I know its closed at the minute but I was hoping to apply once it reopens. I was wondering how it works in terms of buying an item through them? Do they give a voucher for a specific shop or do they order the item for you and have it delivered? I am hoping to apply for a laptop for my 13yo son. Thank you

For computers, etc. Family Fund work with a specific company and you order via them.
