Medikinet And mood swings

Hello, my 11 year old DS started on 10mg of medikinet XL last week. We aren’t noticing much difference except for around the time it wears of he is grumpy and emotional. Our appointments with the dr are few and far between so I’m keen to hear others experiences. He is big for his age so wondering if it’s the dose is off and also if the type isn’t working for him. Thanks.

Probably too low, my DS is on 50mg and he’s 50kilos

is that NHs? We were titrating every week, you don’t need an appointment to increase dose, they can email guidelines

Hello OP, my son is starting on Medikinet. Can I ask if you saw any difference when you built up the dose?

I do know that medication doesnt change our emotions.
