Hi all, ds aged 8 in special school was hit at school by another child. Ds is not able to communicate effectively to tell us and it was sent home as note (he gets transport) school said the child did it not specifically do it at ds but was intentional to gain attention. Should I be questioning this further? I'm worried as my son is quiet, small and absolutely no chance he would do anything back or aggressive to provoke this

I would speak to the school about what they have put in place to ensure DS is safe in the future. Don’t focus on the other pupil, because the school shouldn’t discuss them. Focus on your DS and what they are doing to keep him safe.
