Dla middle rate care to high

Hi all my daughters dla renewal just been done and she's gone from middle rate care to high rate care and they've backdated the difference from November, just wondering if anyone knows if universal credit will backdate the disabled child element, we currently receive the low disabled child element I've reported the change so my next statement should be the higher disabled child element but I was wondering if they'll backdate it to November? Hope this makes sense I know it all sounds so confusing 🙃

The severely disabled child element can be backdated. You should specifically request this.

Did you manage to get the backdated payment from increase in DLA and what was the time scale

@Boymum27Byes I had it backdated from dla and uc backdated the difference from middle rate to high I had to ask for it and it took about 3 weeks x
