Working parents

Hi guys does anyone know if I can claim free working parents childcare code if I’m on carers allowance and my 3 year old is on DLA?
I’m not currently working we will look in the near future for work

If you mean for the 30 free childcare hours, a carer on carer’s allowance who doesn’t work is only eligible if they have a partner who works and meets the income threshold (which depends on DP’s age).

A single carer who isn't working and is on carer's allowance is not eligible for 30 hours. Although you would get the 15 free hours.
