Long wait

Applied end of August 2024. Just rang for an update today jan 2025 and told I won't hear about a decision until mid April. This seems to be a loooong wait.

If you are referring to DLA, our scan date was 6th September, and told to hear back something at the end of February/March. They are running around 25 weeks for a decision. But some people in September have had decisions but it's on a case by case basis

Yes sorry, forgot to add child's DLA to the title. He's told me I'm in a queue but it's not been assigned to anyone yet either.

It's just a waiting game at this point. But if you get more evidence, do sent it to them. We've sent on Austim diagnosis, OT report for SPD diagnosis and Hypermobility, evidence of extra care needs in school evidenced by Level 3 SEND inclusion funding, and a statement the school cannot cope and have applied for EHCP. All of that since we posted the original DLA application.
